Managing County Line Rail’s daily activities, customers, and business operations is the owner of Hall Rail Logistics, FRA-certified engineer and conductor Brent Hall.

 

A Houston native and one of the industry’s most skilled local railroad professionals, Brent has nearly 30 years experience managing and operating railroads. 

 

Working in diverse roles such as Conductor, Site Switching Supervisor, and Terminal Trainmaster, Brent has unparalleled knowledge and expertise in ensuring safety and efficiency for CLR’s customers. Always resourceful and meticulous with the details, he is highly skilled in everything from the loading and unloading of railcars, operating railroad switches, coupling/uncoupling rolling stock to make-up or break-up trains, and much more.        

 

With Brent at the helm, Hall Rail Logistics operates and manages all aspects of rail switching at CLR. This includes the coordination of transloading not to affect switching, working with railroads for inbounds and outbounds, and collaborating with switch crews.

 

In addition to owning several railroad businesses, Brent has extensive experience at companies including Petroleum Services Corporation (Exxon Mobil Baytown, Chevron Pasadena, and Eneos Polymers La Porte, etc.), Canadian Pacific Railway, and West Texas Transloading. Brent’s deep passion and knowledge of the railroad industry and the connections he makes allow him to provide strategic solutions and service for CLR and its customers.
